No warm up time is needed. Materials up to 16" wide and 10 mil thick can be sealed depending on the sealer model. A signal light and "beep" indicates the heat cyle is complete and the seal is done. Once the timer is set, hand sealers will provide a consistently flat seal that is air tight and water tight.

No warm up time needed. Adjustable timer creates perfect seals for varying bag thicknesses. A higher time setting will cut/seal faster, or you could choose to seal without a cut, by setting the timer to a lower position (e.g. foil coffee bags). Simply place one plastic/foil bag on the sealing platform and press down the handle. The electronic circuit controls the heat time automatically. There is a light and a beeper that go off when the time has expired and the seal is done. Hold the handle down for 2 -3 seconds after the light and beeper go off to complete the seal process.
