There are two steps to follow--First, adjust the temperature setting based on the thickness of the bags by turning the knob. Second, place the bag on a high-temperature cloth, press down the handle of the sealing machine, and hold for 1-2 seconds to seal. Please note that there is no warm-up time required!

A system is in place to automatically turn off the power - The heating element in the impulse sealer will stop heating.When the handle is pressed, the machine will rapidly heat the materials and create a seal. An indicator light will illuminate when the sealing machine is activated, and will switch off once the sealing process is finished.
