The Impulse Sealer only consumes power when sealing when the arm is depressed. Therefore the sealer is suitable for intermittent use and there is no startup or heating up time required. The heat element is covered with a non-stick PTFE tape to prevent any plastic from getting stuck to the element. The PTFE tape can easily be wiped clean of any residue if and when needed to help ensure a perfect seal every time. Element and PTFE tape are consumable items and will need to be replaced from time to time. A full range of spare parts is available, and we are able to assist with servicing of your Impulse Sealer.This impulse sealer requires no warm up; just plug it in, set the timer, or alternatively use the manual foot pedal, and start sealing as you please! An indicator light lets you know when a tight seal is ready. The 2 mm sealing width will give a standard seal for light to medium weighted contents. This unit requires a 110V or 110V electrical connection for operation.
