How to Operate The Impulse Heat Sealer:

Step 1: Power Connection and Initial Setup

Begin by plugging the AC cord into a standard 100V–200V outlet, noting that the device does not feature a traditional power switch. You must then adjust the analog timer dial to set the heating duration, selecting a higher number for thicker materials and a lower number for thinner films.

Step 2: Positioning the Packaging Material

Lay your plastic bag or Mylar pouch flat across the sealing platform, ensuring there are no wrinkles or debris in the sealing area. Align the edges carefully to ensure a straight, professional 2mm wide seal that maintains the airtight integrity of the package.

Step 3: Activating the Impulse Heat Cycle

Firmly press the handle down to engage the internal electronic circuit, which will automatically trigger the heating element for your pre-set duration. Watch the indicator light on the chassis; it will illuminate during the active heating phase and turn off once the power is automatically cut.

Step 4: Cooling and Seal Solidification

After the light turns off, continue to hold the handle down for an additional 1–2 seconds to allow the molten plastic to cool and solidify. This crucial cooling period prevents the bag from sticking to the rubber and ensures the strongest possible bond before the pressure is released.

Step 5: Inspection and Final Adjustments

Release the handle and inspect the finished seam for any breaks or signs of overheating, such as melting through the material. If the seal is weak, slightly increase the heat time; if the material is damaged, decrease the duration until you achieve consistent, reliable results.

Step 6: Specialized Model Features 

If you are utilizing the  model, be aware that it includes a built-in function to print identification numbers directly onto the seal. To disable this feature if it is not required for your specific batch, simply flip the handle's silicone rubber strip over to avoid creating unintentional imprints.
