Once the light indicator turns off, the power is cut off automatically. 1-2 seconds later, release the handle gently and the perfect seal is completed. If the break or damage appears on the seal, it is because of too much heal and this can be managed by reducing (turning timer anticlockwise) and if plastic bag sticks to the handle rubber then you lifted the handle too soon (less cooling time).
